Annual Security & Fire Safety Reports
The Annual Security and Fire Safety Report (ASRSR) is a federal requirement of the Jeanne Clery Act that helps existing and prospective students and employees of the University make informed decisions about whether to work, live, or study at our institution. It does so by providing information on the policies and procedures we have in place to help keep our students, staff, faculty, guests, and campus safe and by painting a straightforward picture of what crime and life are like at UNM.
The ASFSR includes statistics of campus crime and fire incidents for the preceding three calendar years in addition to details about efforts UNM takes to improve and maintain campus safety. In addition to resources for students and employees, UNM publishes policy statements in the ASFSR that address crime definitions and reporting, campus security, missing students, fire and other emergency safety protocols, campus notifications, and the University’s response following reports of alleged incidents of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking.
UNM’s Branch Campuses publish their own respective ASRs and ASFSRs each fall. The Clery Coordinator at the UNM Main Campus in Albuquerque prepares this report for Main Campus and the Health Sciences Rio Rancho Campus, which is considered a separate campus for the purposes of the Clery Act but not a UNM Branch Campus.Select an ASFSR for Main Campus and Rio Rancho below, or select a Branch Campus to be directed to its Annual Security Report page.
