Emergency Preparedness

In the event of an emergency, people take on different roles.Building coordinators are trained in pre, during, and post-event activities. Preparation and practice of the plan can mean avoiding disaster and saving lives. Calling appropriate help in a timely manner can bring first responders on scene quickly.Staff and faculty should be familiar with emergency and evacuation plans and be able to help direct others.Students should become familiar with different alerts and what they mean so they may react to a situation appropriately.
